alcoHELP up for Essex Countywide Business Award

04 May 2012

The shortlisting recognises the Charity's commitment to providing its alcohol education programmes throughout Essex. In particular, alcoHELP has reached the finals given the fact that on very little funding, it has managed to reach over 50,000 young people throughout Essex since 2005, demonstratably changing the lives of many.

With all the finalist interviews completed, alcoHELP hopes to pick up an award at the inaugural awards evening at The Cliffs Pavilion in Southend on 18th May 2012.

Terry Martin, trustee and co-founder of alcoHELP, comments:

"We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Newquest awards. This will not only help to raise the profile of the charity, but will most certainly be an important accolade should we be fortunate enough to win."
